Kids Paint & Sip workshop is designed to kids aged 5+ years of age. It is designed to give your child complete creative freedom to paint whatever they want, with tools provided to assist with bringing their ideas to life.
Please note: A parent must attend the workshop to supervise their child's creative process.
What happens
On arrival, your child will select up to 5 of their favourite paint colours available, and then will move to one of our painting stations to design their masterpiece on one of JRD's 20cm round wooden door signs. On completion, their name (pre-arranged prior to the workshop in 3D white acrylic) will be glued to their masterpiece so that they can put it up on their bedroom doors as soon as they get home. Each acrylic name printed will be 12cm in length (please note that only first names can be printed, no middle names), this means that the height of the name will dictated by the number of letters in the name.
If you child struggles with focusing for long periods of time, we recommend choosing the option to order a pre-painted background as this will take the pressure away from the painting looking unfinished and the creative process can be more enjoyable for everyone involved.
The Door Signs are very light, and can be secured to the door using blu tack, double sided tape or velcro command strips.

What's included
Tickets include a juice box and everything you need to create a beautiful painting on one of Jenna Rose Design's 20cm round wooden door signs, including your child's name printed in white acrylic, giving the cursive font a 3D effect.
The workshop will have a range of painting materials available so that your child can explore different techniques while making their work of art. On arrival, your child will get to pick their favourite 5 colours to paint with.
If you child struggles with focusing for long periods of time, I recommend choosing the option of a pre-painted background to allow for flexibility on how much time is spent on the painting. This will take the pressure away from the painting looking unfinished and the creative process can be more enjoyable for everyone involved.
The venue has a playground joined to the room for those much needed bursts of energy.

Things to know
You don’t need to know a thing about how to paint; everything will be shown during the workshop. Just come along with an open, creative mind ready to use your imagination.
It is recommended that you wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty as it's not guaranteed that you will not get paint on your clothing.

If you are looking for a great activity for the kids, I highly recommend this workshop. It is so well organised and Jenna is so lovely and amazing with the kids. She takes the time to help every single one, my son accidently smudged his, Jenna helped and gave him strategies on how to fix it. My 2 yo also joined and he had the best time. Love how she had a group canvas activity for the kids who were speedy with their painting. My son is already asking to join another workshop so I hope there will be canvas ones too in the future 😍
